Dearest Correspondent,

Yes! There is life after Valentine's Day!

Just want to let you know a couple of things:

My next appearance:

Friday, March 3 at 6 p.m. at Kate's Mystery Bookshop
2211 Massachusetts Ave.
Cambridge, Mass. 02140
617-491-2660

I'll meet and chat, sign books and even read aloud if the crowd demands it. And I'll bring chocolate as usual. The prior day I'll be with students at Bentley College talking about writing, reading, and staying sane doing both.

The anthology of short stories I mentioned in my newschat last fall is now available. The proceeds from this book will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Susan B. Komen Foundation. My story, 'I Am Calico Jones', gives a detailed look into the life and heart of the private detective all other private detectives wish they could be. If you buy this anthology you will gain even better karma than you already have. Copy this link into your browser to get the book: http://www.scp-inc.biz/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=576
